Hydrogeologist Stacie Alter, RG, is returning to Clear Creek in Scottsdale, where she will lead our environmental services, compliance, and permitting team. Stacie rejoins Clear Creek after spending the past 10 years as Senior Hydrogeologist and Compliance Manager for the Town of Purcellville, Virginia.
During her 30-year professional career, including 9 years with Clear Creek previously, Stacie’s expertise has grown to include site characterization, environmental permitting (e.g., aquifer protection permits [APP]), groundwater remediation, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), American Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA), National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA). For the past several years, she has been directing the Town’s response to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) lead and copper rule revisions (LCRR) and the perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) drinking water standards.
Stacie is a Registered Geologist in Arizona, member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, and member of the Loudoun County, Virginia, Lead & Copper Rule Revisions and PFAS Work Group.
