Welcoming Hydrogeologist Rebecca Brand

Clear Creek welcomes Rebecca Brand to its Arizona team. Rebecca has 11 years of experience in the Southwest US performing subsurface investigations, providing litigation support, ensuring stormwater compliance, conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and closing underground storage tank (UST) sites. She has extensive knowledge planning and implementing drilling and sampling programs to support soil, soil gas, and groundwater investigations. Rebecca has been directly involved in the design and installation of groundwater monitor wells and extraction wells. Ms. Brand is also skilled in the analysis and documentation of geologic, hydrogeologic, and analytical data for remedial effectiveness and design studies.

Rebecca’s experience includes both private- and public-sector client project work. She has expertise in the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality’s (ADEQ) Aquifer Protection Permit (APP) Compliance program, groundwater monitoring reports, and site investigations. Rebecca has worked on numerous Arizona groundwater remediation sites, including several state Superfund (Water Quality Assurance Revolving Fund [WQARF]) sites where she worked closely with ADEQ staff.

Rebecca received a bachelor’s degree in geology with a minor in biology from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Rebecca is an Arizona Registered Professional Geologist. She will be based in Clear Creek’s Scottsdale office and can be reached at (480) 659-7131.
