
At the Geological Society of America (GSA) conference held in San Antonio, Texas, the American Geosciences Institute (AGI) recognized Doug Bartlett, RG, CHG, Principal Hydrogeologist and Clear Creek Co-Founder, for his service as Treasurer of AGI (2023 to 2025) with an award. He was also instituted as president-elect of the organization by the current president, Anna Shaughnessy (retired, Earth Resources Laboratory, MIT). Doug’s term as president will start in fall 2026.
AGI is a national organization representing about 45 geoscience societies that have a total of about 250,000 members. Its mission is to represent and serve the geoscience community by providing collaborative leadership and information to connect Earth, science, and people.
