John Villinski Receives Arizona Hydrological Society Award

The Arizona Hydrological Society’s (AHS) 2022 Outstanding Service Award was presented to John Villinski, PhD, RG, at this year’s Annual Symposium. Mr. Villinski has been volunteering with AHS for over 20 years and has been the Corporate Board Treasurer since 2016. This award is given to AHS members who have contributed significant volunteer time and service to one or more of these four categories: past symposia, corporate board, chapter officer, AHS scholarship programs, as well as additional considerations such as AHS newsletter contributions, workshop and field trip participation, etc. Learn more about the award.

Mr. Villinski is a senior hydrogeochemist/hydrologist with Clear Creek Associates and has over 25 years of experience with design studies, acid mine/rock drainage, mine process solutions, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Since 1999, he has served as AHS Corporate Board Treasurer, Corporate Board Member, Chapter Director, Chapter President, and Chapter Secretary. His contribution to AHS is what helps make it as prestigious and successful as it is.
